When I first heard about Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton I was smug in my certainty that there was simply no way I was going to enjoy a rap/musical about Alexander Hamilton. Boy, was I wrong. Hamilton is hands down the most engaging, educational, entertaining show I have ever seen.
And now there is reason for elation because the Tony award-winning show is coming to Disney +…and as the Hamilton musical Instagram account says, “Shout it to the rooftops.”
Hamilton’s Original Broadway Cast performs “Alexander Hamilton” on a recent Zoom to surprise one of their greatest young fans. Appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr, Jonathan Groff, Anthony Ramos, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson, and Daveed Diggs.
